A high quality semi synthetic heavy duty mixed fleet engine oil engineered to have a comprehensive performance profile allowing fulfilment of a wide range of major engine builder lubrication requirements.

Features

Outstanding soot handling and sludge dispersancy ensures excellent engine cleanliness, reduced valvetrain wear and reduced oil filter restriction at high soot levels – allows drain interval extension and therefore reduced downtime for fleet operators.

Excellent wear protection results in trouble free engine performance and long component life – allows maintenance cost reductions.

High Total Base Number (TBN) product designed for the latest heavy duty diesel API, ACEA and OEM engine specifications where full SAPS / high sulphated ash is required.

Applications

TRUCK-GUARD® 15W-40 is suitable for EURO 2, 3, 4, 5 & US 2002 compliant truck, bus and industrial engines. It is also suitable for Interim Tier 4 / Stage 3B off-highway rated applications including those fitted with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) emission control systems.

TRUCK-GUARD® 15W-40 is capable of providing medium service periods for trucks driving long distances (always follow OEM recommendations), often in conjunction with Rock Oil Condition Monitoring Analysis. Further information is available from your Rock Oil Account Manager.

Caution:
TRUCK-GUARD® 15W-40 is not compatible with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) systems. TRUCK-GUARD® LS SERIES, PLUS LS SERIES or ELITE LS SERIES products should be used for vehicles fitted with DPF emission control hardware.

A premium quality part-synthetic oil that has been specially developed to meet the requirements of EURO 3, 4 & 5 vehicles that are not fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter. This level of performance is required to meet the new requirements for soot handling performance defined within both the ACEA and API latest diesel categories as well as OEM performance requirements.

  • The oil are formulated to contain detergent, dispersant, anti-wear, corrosion and oxidation inhibitors and provide the maximum engine protection possible
